The rules Pruqo cannot break
Pruqo makes money from commerce and keeps trust by charter. A promise you can’t point to is a mood, not a policy — so the rules are written down here, where you can hold the product against them.
The charter
Six rules. The first one is the whole company: break it once and there is no product left to defend.
Why the hard line: Honey’s reputation collapsed into class actions over affiliate attribution hijacking and withheld coupons. Yuka’s refusal of brand money is why fifty million people trust it. Pruqo’s position is the gap between them — commerce-enabled but rank-honest — and that position only exists while rule one is absolute.
How affiliate links work
When you buy through a Pruqo link, the retailer pays Pruqo a commission. The price you pay is the same either way — the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket. That commission is what keeps verdicts, cleaner swaps, and best prices free for everyone.
On every verdict, retailers are listed sorted by price, best price first — never by commission. The exact line under every price list reads:
Sorted by price. Pruqo may earn a commission — rank is never for sale.
The one place commission is allowed to matter: when two retailers tie on price, the link may route to the program that pays better. The pick itself — which product, which retailer shows first — is never touched. The methodology behind every pick is public at /methodology.
Data pledge
Three commitments, in plain language:
- Your personal data is never sold. Not to brands, not to data brokers, not “anonymized then sold” — not sold.
- Your values profile stays on your device where possible. Avoid-lists like pregnancy-safe or fragrance-free are stored locally first, and sync only if you choose to create an account. Profiles are sensitive data: encrypted, never shared.
- Anything brands see is aggregate-only. “A third of shoppers who scanned this product left over one ingredient” — that kind of insight, anonymized and in bulk, never at the level of a person.

What’s real on this preview — and what isn’t yet
The products here are real, and every flag cites a public source — label databases (NIH DSLD, Open Food Facts), EWG, FDA and CPSC records, and certifiers’ own directories. Scores are Pruqo’s editorial opinion computed from those cited flags under the published methodology. Prices were checked by hand on July 22, 2026 and may have changed since — live price feeds arrive with retailer partnerships, and until then every price links to the retailer’s page where the current number wins. Site statistics and shopper quotes are illustrative while the catalog is this young.
